Meet your hosts, Brywn and Ben
We simply love it here! We always enjoy a walk – three miles each day! – all around our beautiful property, often in the company of our black Labrador retriever, Blue, or one of our friendly roosters: Henny Benny and Sir Roo. We take our responsibility to these lands very seriously, and feel so very lucky to call this our home.
We have relocated and restored our historic cabins Haven Lodge, originally built in 1860, or Creekside Cabin, which was built in 1864. We offer them for you to enjoy a stay with us to rest and retreat, or as a home base from which to explore all that this area has to offer, or to celebrate together with friends and family. Our horses, Madison and Bailey, graze lazily in the pasture, and offer an idyllic view of farm life from the window of our newest modern yet cozy accommodation, the Pinegrove Cottage.
The natural beauty of our surroundings brings peace to our hearts. We love good food, fine wine and, most importantly, the comforts of home. We own a wonderful ceramics art gallery in Burnsville, NC.
We are glad you are here! We look forward to your visit, and helping you plan your special event here with us.
